We are the data controller for the personal information we collect through this website and in the course of delivering our services. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

3. Legal basis for processing

  • Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)): Right to work verification, compliance with the Employment Agencies Act 1973, and other regulatory obligations.
  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a)): Analytics cookies and any direct marketing communications, where you have opted in. You can withdraw consent at any time.

4. How we use your personal data

We use the personal data we collect for the following purposes:

  • Responding to enquiries submitted through our contact forms
  • Identifying and presenting candidates to UK employers (recruitment service)
  • Verifying candidates' right to work in the UK under the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006
  • Processing job applications and managing the recruitment lifecycle
  • Delivering BPO, IT consulting, and study abroad services to clients and students
  • Sending service updates, where you have requested or consented to receive them
  • Complying with our legal and regulatory obligations
  • Analysing website usage to improve our site (analytics cookies, with your consent)

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell personal data. We share data only where necessary and with appropriate safeguards in place:

  • Employers and clients: Candidate profiles and CVs are shared with client organisations only in the context of a specific recruitment brief and only with your knowledge.
  • IT and hosting providers: Our website infrastructure and CRM tools are operated by third-party providers (including Supabase, Vercel) under data processing agreements.
  • Email service providers: We use Resend to send transactional emails. They process your email address on our behalf.
  • Professional advisers: Solicitors, accountants, and insurers, where necessary and under confidentiality obligations.
  • Regulatory bodies and law enforcement: Where we are required to do so by law.

We do not transfer personal data outside the UK or EEA without ensuring appropriate safeguards are in place (such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses).

6. How long we keep your data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

  • Enquiry and contact form submissions: 12 months from the date of enquiry, unless a business relationship is established.
  • Candidate CVs and application data: 6 months from the date of submission if no placement is made. Where a placement is made, records are kept for 6 years for regulatory compliance.
  • Right to work documentation: 2 years after the candidate's employment ends, in line with Home Office guidance.
  • Client contracts and records: 6 years from the end of the contract, for tax and legal purposes.
  • Study abroad enquiry data: 12 months from initial counselling if no application proceeds. Where an application is submitted, 3 years from the date of the visa decision.
  • Website analytics data: Aggregated and anonymised after 14 months.

7. Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (Subject Access Request).
  • Right to rectification: You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure: You can ask us to delete your personal data where there is no compelling reason for continued processing.
  • Right to restrict processing: You can ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
